Junkitz Goodness...

on Friday, Sandy and I were off to the Junkitz warehouse sale...as you can see from the photo you'd never believe this was the right place!!! Unfortunately it was not a nice weather day here in NJ so everything was inside instead of outside under tents. It was cozy and crowded!!! Lots of great stuff and great prices and they kept refilling the paper slots and racks...just missed meeting Kristin; she was running off with one son in tow and having to get back to pick up the other one at school....
In honor of my birthday and the Junkitz sale, I'm going to be giving away this lovely collection of Junkitz goodness to a randomly selected person who comments to this post. The collection includes:

Flowerz in acid green and pink
Stitched mini file folderz
Accordion mantel books--one is 5x8; one is 4x4
Paper from the Rhythmz collection--Pop Rock(pink) and Hip Hop(green)

In the comment, share where in the world you'd like to visit, either for the first time or a return trip. And just for fun, include your favorite candy. I'll be selecting a winner on Thursday night sometime after 9pm EDT.

And yes, I did bake that birthday cake; we surprised my Mom with it since yesterday was her birthday!!

Enjoy,

Janet

Happy Birthday, Janet! I saw the initial comment about the Junkitz sale on the CE yahoo board, and passed along the info to friends, even new ones I met at Art & Soul in VA. I'm looking forward to re-visiting Phoenix at CE this year -- if we meet, I'll share my red licorice with you :>).

Happy Birthday Janet !! How wonderful that you were able to go to the Junkitz sale. I am taking an online class this summer with the Junkitz gals and would have loved to stock up on class supplies at the warehouse sale....unfortunately I live in Michigan.....too far away for a road trip. I am looking forward to seeing Oregon for the first time this summer. My daughter and I are taking Amtrak so we can see the United States along the way. I know that I will have some wonderful pictures and memories to scrapbook when I get home...and maybe along the way too. My favorite candy is Almond Joy.....I did a candy survey once and it said Almond Joy meant that I was passionate......well I know I'm passionate about scrapbooking !!!
Have a great day !!

could you send a piece of your birthday cake? It looks soooo good!

Travel? I'd love to take a summer off & really SEE the US. I feel like there's so much of my own country I don't know that much about. High on the list - Grand Canyon, Mt Rushmore, a drive on Rt 66, Old Faithful, Gettysburg.

Candy? Can I say ALL? My top 2 are Swedish Fish and dark chocolate Mounds.

I SOOOO wish I could've gone to the Junkitz sale - I am very jealous!

Happy Birthday Janet!! Glad someone made it to the Junkitz sale! It was too far for me to drive it from the Gulf Coast of Texas so I had to live vicariously through others' photos! LOL. As for a fav place I would have to say I would love to see Paris! DH and I made it to England & Wales for his little sister's wedding (while I was 5.5 months pregnant with twins and that was 7yrs ago) but the conductor on the Chunnel train to Paris wouldn't let me on 'cause he didn't believe I wasn't due to have the babies for another 4 months. He was positive we would get stuck and I would wind up delivering on the train and that just wouldn't do. SOoo, I didn't get to see Paris on that trip and I would really love to.

As to my favorite candy = Mounds! Dk Chocolate and Coconut! Ummmm ummm good!

Happy Birthday, Janet (a little late). I really wished I could have gone to the Junkitz sale - just a little too far. Look forward to meeting you at CE in Phoenix. Where I'd like to go? I'd love to go back to Hawaii! I went on my honeymoon and dream about going back! Maybe in a few years when the kids are gone...

Happy Birthday to your Mom! Can I have a piece, too...looks yummy!

Have you read any of Maeve Binchy's books? She writes fiction stories and most are set in Ireland. She's won me over and I'd love to visit there someday!

Is it bad to say that I can't pick a fav candy? I love almost all of them, lol!
