It's Friday and it's back to the regular routine. We're both off from work so it's breakfast at the diner, stops at Target and Home Depot, and then on to the major project of unearthing the studio. Seriously, neither one of us has done much work up there since we came home from Becca's back in October {how SAD it that?}. My sewing area was a nightmare from making all those Christmas stockings and an apron; and there were containers and bags with embellishments and paper everywhere. I am happy to report that we didn't have to send out the Mounties to search for us and we have at least sorted everything either into a paper pile or a laundry basket which is now full of embellishments. The other thing that's overtaking our space is all those cool folders and boxes we've gotten at all those events x2. They are going to the basement since are cluttering the space big time. Still lots of work to do BUT we're making progress.
New Year's Day was lovely--the first time in years I actually took the day off! We went to the choir brunch/open house in the early part of the day then took some projects over to Mom and Dad's. Had a fire in the fireplace, cooked dinner, worked on the projects, and watched the bowl games {YEA, Nebraska; SORRY, Penn State}.
